The best coffee in the area and the staff are lovely. If getting beans to take away, you can get them ground if you don’t have a grinder. There’s a nice selection of tea… and cake, too.

Lovely homey tea and coffee spot! The tea was fantastic and the coffee was expertly made. The kind barista bought everything to us and we paid at the end. The cookies were a nice sugar pick-me-up.

If you’re looking for a sweet, classy spot to enjoy coffee-plus-plus, this is it!! Two seats in front of the window allows for people-watching; or turn around and have a chat with the gracious owner & the locals. I’m grateful to the proprietor for welcoming me to Edinburgh and supplying enough caffeine to overcome my jet lag

Super fast coffee, used an oat milk I hadn’t seen before (Aussie traveller) but was pleasant. Had plenty of gluten free cake and biscuit options!

Very helpful staff who knows about coffee beans. Tell what kind of taste you like and they will suggest the best origin. The interior decoration is very nice. In my opinion, the best coffee shop in the UK.
